  Somebody of any age that has an empty refrigerator like this should be at their local food bank

  Run by a church no doubt.

  Government assistance I assume.

  If they ever did stock a fridge, they'd probably make a JW Broadcasting video about it called "Cold Food for All", cut with interviews with a crying sister. The scuttlebutt would he that a prominent Maytag executive asked the society for advice, and then 100 years from now JWs would be talking about how the society invented the refrigerator.

  "this particular text was written in the wake of the assyrian invasion of judah and the siege of jerusalem by sennacherib in 703-701 bc (20 years after he had already wiped out israel).

  here the author resorts to hyperbole (exaggeration) in describing the utter destruction of the land of judah: that is, the destruction of judah is envisioned as the destruction of the whole earth.

  But Blondie, I must say that I've always thought the picture in your avatar was Blondie, body facing left, wearing a backless/strapless dress, head turned looking over her left shoulder. Now I realize she is fully facing straight, but leaning at an angle. I need to rethink everything lol

  I love how every paradise picture ends up looking dated. For instance, in this picture Armageddon obviously came in the early '90s.

  Their main "evil" in my book is that they require, actually demand, blind acceptance of whatever their truth du jour happens to be.

  Yes! There's usually nothing wrong with having wrong ideas and misconceptions, we all have them in one way or another. It's when you demand under threat of 'death' that you be followed, and even those that do follow you micromanage and often ruin their lives, then it's no longer 'imperfection', it's just plain evil.   How do they know readers will be amazed?

  Because they SAID the readers would be amazed, and that's good enough for the sheep.

  Can they give a few specific examples as to what is so amazing?

  That Jehovah is providing such rich spiritual food in this time of the end. 🤢
